Level Up: Modernizing the UX/UI of a Gaming Store App
The GAME app is a Spanish mobile application that provides users access to the popular video game retailer, GAME, from their mobile devices. Available for both Android and iOS, the app allows users to browse and purchase video games, consoles, and accessories conveniently. Users can manage their GAME accounts, view purchase history, and track orders seamlessly.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing app suffers from a poor user experience, primarily due to a cluttered menu with repeated elements. This design flaw causes confusion, making it challenging for users to find the information they need. Additionally, poor usability hampers efficiency, leading to user frustration and potential abandonment of the app.
GOALS
-
Redesign the app to enhance usability and user experience.
-
Organize the menu effectively to eliminate repeated elements and improve navigation.
-
Create a clear and intuitive interface that facilitates quick access to information.
-
Foster user engagement through a streamlined design and enhanced functionality.

BEFORE
RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
Research was conducted by analyzing reviews left on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. This feedback revealed common user frustrations, such as difficulties with navigation and an overwhelming interface. Insights highlighted the need for a more organized design to improve overall usability and satisfaction.
